We've raised over £200,000 for deserving local charities and causes.

The Furnley House Foundation is our way of giving back

At Furnley House we recognise and appreciate the privileged position we are in. We have employment, good health, a social community and a roof over our heads. And at the same time, we also recognise that many others are not so fortunate.

Furnley House was founded out of a need to make financial planning more accessible to those who need it the most. And that ethos, of being here to make a difference, has never left us.

Our History

Chapter 1: Fun Beginnings (2015-2018)

Back in the early days, we took on all sorts of crazy challenges to raise money - think Wolf Runs, sleeping under the stars, and attempting to squeeze into a tiny Fiat 500!

Then, in 2018, we had this brilliant idea: let's throw a Summer Ball for charity.

We teamed up with Alex's Wish - Cure Duchenne, and guess what? We raised over £30,000! That success sparked something special.

Chapter 2: Making a Difference (2019-2021)

Fast forward to 2019, we officially launched The Furnley House Foundation at another awesome Summer Ball, adding another £40,000 to our total.

We dove into helping our community with quiz nights, skydives, and food hampers for those in need.

Even when the pandemic hit, we chipped in over £3000 and helped pack boxes for Leicester Hospitals Charity and the British Red Cross.

We also started giving shout-outs to local heroes with the Leicestershire Community Champions Awards – pretty cool, right?

Chapter 3: Growing Together (2022-present)

2022 brought back in-person events, like our epic Summer Ball that raised over £43,000, or LCC Awards with Falcon Support Services as our Charity of the Year.

As of June 2023, the Furnley House Foundation has achieved registered charity status. This milestone enables us to continue with our mission: to create opportunities and enhance the well-being of our local community by improving and saving lives.

The 2023 Leicestershire Community Champions Awards kept shining a spotlight on amazing people, with Steps Conductive Education Centre being our latest Charity of the Year.

We've now raised over £200,000 for charity, and we're not stopping anytime soon. Here's to more fun, more support for our local community, and more amazing adventures in the years ahead!

What we do

The aim of the foundation is simple: to help improve the lives of as many people as we can. Of course, that is a very broad aim. Specifically, we want to help those within our community.

We hold two flagship events to help us do this, along with regular fundraising activities throughout the year.
